We'd seen and read that the food truck scene in Austin was vibrant, so we dedicated an evening to exploring their wares. We ended up near east side drive in, a strip along 6th street where many trucks gather. Being evening, many of the trucks had shut down for the day, but there were still plenty o choose from.
We settled on some cheese steaks from a Rocky (think Balboa) themed truck. Perfect truck fare. I tried a spicy corndog from a neighboring truck and was disappointed. We trekked down the road to Amy's Ice Cream where Blair indulged on some pumpkin ice cream and I chose some Guinness ice cream. Both were fantastic.
