We still like to go out on dates, and having a nice, quiet, candle lit dinner is something we both enjoy. With that in mind, I present favorite romantic dining in the Little Rock Area.
1) Ashley's-- Even though Lee Richardson, acclaimed chef at Ashley's for a while now, is leaving, the traditional elegant southern dining carries on.
2) Brave New-- Peter Brave and company have a great location (if you can find it) with a large outdoor dining area that makes a spring/summer/fall date extra special.
3) Caper's-- Good food, casual elegance, not overly expensive. A well rounded place to eat and converse.
Still Good (and in no particular order)
1) 1620 Savoy -- I've had good and OK experiences there. Feels pricey.
2) Trio's -- Had our wedding dinner here. Seasonal menus very tasty.
3) So -- a bit pricey.
4) Vesuvio-- good Italian and intimate. Reasonably priced.
Great for a Lunch Date:
1) Copper Grill
2) Vieux Carre/Afterthought
3) Ciao
4) Terrace on the Green
A Chain, but delicious:
1) YaYa's
2) Bone Fish
On the Fence:
1) Ciao Baci
2) Bravo
3) Lulav
