In my mind it was a long time coming (and perhaps in the mind of Chef Patternson), but finally: Southern Gourmasian has a brick and mortar restaurant located downtown with ever increasing hours so that when you get that craving, you'll know exactly where to look.
SG boasts of the most creative and enjoyable menus in Central Arkansas, combing traditional southern fare with distinct Eastern "Pizzaz." The Chicken & Dumplins, Steamed Buns, Ramen, Seared Tuna-- you've got to experience it just once. But believe me when I warn you: you'll be hooked.

Fresh, many rotating dishes, new creations, creative, explorable. Ever expanding, and once the drink selection gets up and running this place will have it all.
Food: ★★★★★
This is delicious, unpretentious, filling food that provides a sense of hominess and adventurousness at the same time. One must try the steamed buns at some point, and the Chicken and Dumplins are something you'll describe to your friends.
Atmosphere: ★★★★☆
The interior was in part crowd-sourced through Kickstarter, and it shows-- nice furnishings, well lit and open, the high ceilings of downtown help reduce noise so that even when at capacity, you can have a conversation. Great location in downtown. Kid friendly.
Service: ★★★★☆
Prompt and courteous, food comes out quickly, knowledgable staff can answer questions. Not full service (think bbq joint) but doesn't hurt them.
